Residential Property Compliance Specialist

Your new role will involve a range of duties relating to the licensing and enforcement of residential properties. This includes undertaking inspections, surveys, site visits, interviews, and research work in relation to statutory enforcement roles when delivering the residential property compliance scheme.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining a detailed technical knowledge and understanding of all relevant legislation relating to residential property compliance, including codes of practice, guidance, and standard regulations to ensure the section's effectiveness in carrying out its functions.
- Assisting with the monitoring and actioning of complaints relating to anti-social behaviour (ASB) and environmental quality matters linked to residential premises to ensure the property owner is adhering to their obligations in this regard and to prepare reports and provide evidence in circumstances where it may be necessary to take necessary enforcement action.
You'll need to succeed in this role by possessing a third level qualification in a relevant discipline with at least one year's experience of legislative enforcement and application, including the administration of documentation for enforcement investigation of complaints and carrying out appropriate remedial action.
If you do not possess a relevant third level qualification, you should be able to demonstrate at least two years' experience in the above areas.
A full, current driving licence and a car available for business use are also essential.
