
Residential Joinery Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of joinery components within residential properties. This role combines expertise in joinery with skills in general maintenance tasks to ensure properties are structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.
Responsibilities include:
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood, composite, or metal components to construct or repair doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery items.
- Installing and fitting joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings.
- Repairing or replacing damaged joinery components such as skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen units.
- Installation of fire-resistant doors.
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
RequirementsNVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Joinery is required. Relevant experience in joinery work, including installation and repair, is essential. A track record working in a similar role within construction or maintenance is also necessary.
A valid CSCS/CSR card is required, along with relevant on-site experience in similar roles. Working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations is also essential.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are required. A full, valid, clean driving license is also necessary.
