We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for our residents, promoting their independence, autonomy, and dignity. This will involve working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each person.

You will also be responsible for assessing the physical and emotional needs of our residents, developing and implementing interventions to address these needs, and evaluating the effectiveness of these interventions. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records of resident care and communicate effectively with family members, caregivers, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognized qualification in nursing (RNID desirable)
  • Current registration on the Register of An Bord Altranais (N.M.B.I.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
