Job Overview:

The Clinical Support Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering bespoke clinical supports that assure the competence of healthcare professionals and support staff.

Key responsibilities include providing oversight, support, direction, and training with regard to operational requirements of policy and procedures across all aspects of service users' clinical support needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training supports for community staff teams ensuring safe and holistic healthcare assessment process and clinical risk management strategies
  • Support the development and implementation of clinical compliance standards across all services including HIQA designated centres, home support, and adult services
Requirements and Qualifications:

A degree in nursing and a training qualification or background in delivery of SAMs training or other training and development programmes are essential.

Applicants must also have a minimum of 2 years experience in a disability service-related management post and a minimum of 5 years experience working in the disability sector.

A full driver's license and availability of own car is an essential requirement.

Essential Requirements:
  • DEGREE IN NURSING
  • TRAINING QUALIFICATION OR BACKGROUND IN DELIVERY OF SAMs TRAINING
  • MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN DISABILITY SERVICE-RELATED MANAGEMENT POST
  • MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE DISABILITY SECTOR
