Job Description:
As a sales retail development representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering on our business's KPIs across key accounts, wholesale, and independent retailers. Your primary focus will be building an in-depth knowledge of customer needs and shopper dynamics by establishing partnerships with up to 200 retail key accounts, independent, and wholesale outlets in your designated area. You will be responsible for having value-adding conversations to sell new products that meet the customers' identified needs, ensuring the best possible space allocation and visibility on shelf. Additionally, you will utilize trade incentives and activities effectively, monitor competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities based on your enhanced knowledge of the category and shopper behavior in-store.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on KPIs across key accounts, wholesale, and independent retailers.
- Build an in-depth knowledge of customer needs and shopper dynamics.
- Establish partnerships with up to 200 retail key accounts, independent, and wholesale outlets.
- Have value-adding conversations to sell new products meeting customers' identified needs.
- Ensure optimal space allocation and visibility on shelf.
- Utilize trade incentives and activities effectively.
- Monitor competitor activity.
- Identify new business opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in sales representation or similar roles.
- Ability to work independently, be resilient, and achieve targets.
- Understanding of wider team goals and how you can impact them.
- Self-motivated, time management skills, strong communication, and people skills.
