Gallery Producer Ireland AM

Virgin Media Television is seeking a skilled Gallery Producer to join its dynamic team for the flagship morning show, Ireland AM. As a key player in producing live output, you will be responsible for delivering editorial direction, managing live content, and maintaining high broadcast standards.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Gallery Producer who can work under pressure, making quick decisions in real-time while ensuring seamless live broadcasts. This role requires a strong understanding of entertainment and current affairs television, with excellent editorial judgement and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with the capacity to pivot between live gallery tasks, content development, and team coordination
  • Excellent forward planning skills, with a passion for identifying great stories, talent, and new ideas to keep the show fresh and exciting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, live environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adjust editorial direction on the fly

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, live television environment. If you have experience working in daytime TV, particularly with live broadcasts, and possess a degree or qualification in Broadcast Media, Communications, or a related field, we would like to hear from you.
