Job Title: Catering Team Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive individual to fill the role of Catering Team Coordinator. This position will be responsible for supporting the catering team and ensuring smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience in a fast-paced environment such as hospitality, retail, or facilities support. They will also have a basic understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations, with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the catering manager in leading the catering team and coordinating daily operations.
  • Support the team in maintaining high standards of quality work and customer service.
  • Help onboard and train new team members, promoting a positive and customer-focused culture.
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries and contribute to positive client relationships.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and promotions to support engagement and sales.
  • Monitor supplies, support stock control, and assist with basic financial tracking as needed.
  • Contribute to sustainability efforts, such as reducing food waste and supporting Net Zero goals.
  • Help oversee food presentation and hospitality standards under the guidance of the catering manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Some supervisory or team-leading experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service environment.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations (training can be provided).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as hospitality, retail, or facilities support.
  • Interest in progressing into a more senior catering management role over time.
