Key Responsibilities
Support the Catering Manager in leading the catering team and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Assist in coordinating food service and hospitality functions in line with service level agreements.
Help onboard and train new team members, promoting a positive and customer-focused culture.
Act as a point of contact for client queries and contribute to positive client relationships.
Assist with marketing initiatives and promotions to support engagement and sales.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards across the service area.
Monitor supplies, support stock control, and assist with basic financial tracking as needed.
Contribute to sustainability efforts, such as reducing food waste and supporting Net Zero goals.
Help oversee food presentation and hospitality standards under the guidance of the Catering Manager.
About You
Some supervisory or team-leading experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service environment.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Basic understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations (training can be provided).
Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as hospitality, retail, or facilities support.
Interest in progressing into a more senior catering management role over time.
This role does not involve hands-on cooking; the emphasis is on service delivery and team coordination.
