Job Description

As we embark on a transformative journey to establish our in-house IT capability, we seek an accomplished Network Engineer to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of our local and wide area networks. This pivotal role demands a thorough understanding of networking technologies, hands-on experience, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with network and security managed service providers to plan, execute, and test network equipment installations.
  • Implement and maintain security policies and controls as defined by our security team.
  • Evaluate and resolve network performance issues affecting availability, utilisation, throughput, and latency.
  • Optimise the network through continuous monitoring and collaboration with network architects.
  • Review SLAs and overall performance of managed service providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT Network Support.

Expertise: Profound knowledge of network technologies and their application across WAN, LAN, Wireless, Voice, and Network Security.

Skills: Experience in configuration, implementation, and support of enterprise or manufacturing networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.

Desirable: Industry-recognised certifications (e.g., CCNP).
