Warehouse Operative Position

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in warehouse operations.

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operative to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in facility operations, equipment maintenance, and grain handling tasks.

  • Loading and unloading trucks, filling/reclaiming grain ground piles, and various other grain handling tasks.
  • Maintenance and operation of production equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations.
  • Receiving incoming goods verifying packaging documentation against shipment records and checks for damages.
  • Ensuring safe storage of product in the warehouse, minimising damage.
  • Operation of equipment and machines such as hand trucks, forklifts, palletizers, stretch-film wrappers, labelers, or conveyors.
  • Maintenance duties and general warehouse upkeep.
Duties:
  1. Ensure safe working practices and maintain a clean work environment.
  2. Operate equipment and machinery efficiently and safely.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and deadlines.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 20kg, kneeling.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Working Conditions:
  • Shift patterns: one week of days and one week of evenings.
  • Days: 6 am – 2 pm.
  • Evening: 2 pm – 10 pm.
