About this exciting opportunity:
Job Role:Serving as a key member of the Custody Tax Operations team, you will support Northern Trust's EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) clients in their tax requirements.
The role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax treatment, including client on-boarding, tax rate analysis, and periodic reviews.
You will be responsible for executing bespoke processes to meet the unique needs of our EMEA clients and resolving complex queries from clients, colleagues, and other relevant parties.
Main Responsibilities:- Client on-boarding: Supporting new EMEA clients in their tax requirements
- Tax oversight: Ensuring accurate and timely tax treatment for EMEA clients
- Bespoke process execution: Executing tailored processes to meet EMEA client needs
- Query resolution: Resolving complex queries from clients, colleagues, and others
- Detailed knowledge of dividends, asset servicing, and withholding tax
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Strong time-management skills with ability to prioritise tasks
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
