Job Description

As a Deputy Head of Design Organisation you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the design and certification processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong leader with exceptional technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering results under pressure.

Our Commercial Modifications Team is seeking an individual with 10+ years of experience in related commercial aircraft design and certification fields to lead our Design Organisation Approval (DOA). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and maintenance of the DOA, maintaining effective communication and coordination with all departments, and acting as the primary point of contact for the Head of Design Organisation in their absence.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering and extensive experience with EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements, including (E)TSO, CS-25, JAR-25 and FAR-25. They will also possess excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive technical excellence and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the Design Organisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 10+ years' experience in related commercial aircraft design and certification fields
  • Extensive experience with EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements, including (E)TSO, CS-25, JAR-25 and FAR-25
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
  • Strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities
