Project Manager - Estimator Role

About the Position:

The Project Manager – Estimator will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing projects, estimating costs, and developing strategic business plans. We are seeking an exceptional individual with strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound assumptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the estimating process for all project bids, establishing standardized procedures and methods for the estimating department.
  • Oversee the analysis of past performance on projects, establish estimating standards for all future estimates, and supervise the historical cost database, bid management, and estimating software.
  • Assist with identifying risk issues and their level of importance, and coordinate technical proposal requirements with the relevant departments.
  • Participate in the development of strategic business plans, including market research and competitor analysis.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and make sound assumptions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of success in estimating and project management.
