  • We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Specialist in Mobility Solutions to join our team in Sandymount.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multi-disciplinary clinical, engineering, and technical team to deliver a user-focussed service, providing wheelchair and special seating assessments, equipment selection, prescription, and provision. The role involves working in partnership with colleagues and service users to meet individual needs and preferences, as well as communicating effectively with relatives, carers, and other related professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of high-quality clinical services, including assessment, prescription, delivery, handover, and review of posture positioning and related mobility equipment.
  • Accountability for documentation of service user intervention according to professional norms and requirements.
  • Service development priorities include reviewing, further developing, and promoting training courses, establishing research partnerships, and transitioning to digital technologies.

Requirements

  • Honours degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and current CORU registration.
  • Training in anatomy & physiology and understanding of postural management and seating assessment principles.
  • Three years' experience in the sector, with specific experience in wheelchairs and adaptive seating, plus a commitment to continuous professional development.
