Design Manager Position">

A leading construction firm is seeking a skilled Design Manager to join its team for a major apartment development project based in Cork City. This is a permanent role offering strong career development opportunities and the chance to work on high-profile commercial, residential, and industrial developments.


Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Collaborate with site teams to manage project setup, focusing on coordination of architectural and engineering information;">
  • Coordinate utilities and services between mechanical/electrical engineers and utility providers;">
  • Prepare and maintain schedules of information requirements in line with contract programmes, and monitor progress;">
  • Manage the technical submittal process for all project components, including tracking and reporting status against programme timelines;">
  • Maintain procurement tracking schedules based on approved submittals and cost approvals;">
  • Respond promptly to project queries and ensure proper documentation and resolution;">
  • Support the project team in identifying and resolving design-related challenges.">
">Requirements:">
  • ">
  • 10+ years' experience as a Design Manager on commercial, residential and apartment projects;">
  • Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering or Architecture;">
  • Experience working with a main contractor is desirable;">
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent planning and organizational skills;">
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet tight deadlines;">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.">
