Job Description:

This is a pivotal role within our dynamic and growth-focused organization. As a senior software development engineer, you will play a key part in driving technology thought leadership across our portfolio of products and capabilities.

Our team is dedicated to delivering world-class microservices for our next-generation products. This involves building and working on enterprise-grade software systems using cloud technology.

You will be part of an agile development team, collaborating with other software engineers, business analysts, and architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting business applications.

This role requires strong technical expertise, including experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, REST API design, application containerization, messaging technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ, relational and document databases (Postgres, MongoDB), and caching patterns and technologies.

As a leader in this field, you will participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code, ensuring high standards of software quality are maintained.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant degree/work experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience building large consumer-facing products using Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin

  • Skills: Experience with REST API design best practices, application containerization, messaging technologies, relational and document databases, caching patterns and technologies, TDD and BDD/unit testing frameworks, GenAI tools (Cursor, CoPilot)
