
Business Development Executive: Grid Integration Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction in the grid integration sector. As a Commercial Grid Development Lead, you will oversee high-performing sales teams across diverse markets and cultures, with a deep understanding of HVDC, substations, or related grid technologies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Managing and coaching high-performing sales teams across diverse markets and cultures.
- Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales initiatives.
- Ensuring a comprehensive and competitive offering that aligns with strategic guidelines, including Gate and Where To Play processes.
- Exceeding sales targets by delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Addressing and resolving complex challenges, applying sound judgment and strategic thinking.
- Influencing stakeholders beyond your immediate team, shaping policies, practices, and procedures across the organization.
You will be responsible for managing a team of experienced professionals, providing direction while allowing autonomy in their roles. You will also implement policies and strategies to achieve short-term results (typically within one year).
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience in sales leadership within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors, ideally with a focus on grid integration or power systems.
- A strong understanding of HVDC, substations, or related grid technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Experience managing and coaching high-performing sales teams across diverse markets and cultures.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external partners at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with project-based sales cycles and complex solution selling.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
