Data Center Operations

We require an experienced Data Center Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating our global data center infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered to our customers.

Your expertise in critical infrastructure, building operations, mechanical plant strategies, and control systems will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our data centers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, deliver, and operate global data center infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver high-quality solutions for customers.
  • Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of electronic or digital control systems.
  • Provide QA/QC oversight of hardware installation and review proposals and programming through the commissioning process.
  • Experience with data center redundancy, mechanical failure strategies, energy and water conservation practices, and data reporting analytics.
  • Knowledge of operating in high-security critical environments while maximizing productivity.
  • Innovate new solutions to support team, initiative, and company goals.
  • Create and maintain specification documents for global projects.
  • Develop and support mechanisms for mechanical and electrical controls products.
  • Interact with AWS cloud services and other applications to present, archive, and analyze accumulated data.
