Job Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Reinsurance Accounts professional to provide strategic oversight and guidance to our team of analysts.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Reinsurance Accounts Analysts, reviewing their work and resolving complex queries.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Manager to deliver month-end and quarter-end close activities.
  • Ensure accurate processing of cedant accounts and settlements in compliance with internal standards.
  • Develop and deliver reconciliations and contribute to management reporting.
  • Partner with compliance, actuarial, and underwriting colleagues on reporting matters.
  • Assist with audit processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and other planning processes.
Your Expertise:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with minimum 2 years PQE in insurance/reinsurance or audit of same, OR at least 6 years technical reinsurance accounts experience if not qualified.
  • Previous experience supporting or mentoring junior staff.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex accounting issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Advanced Excel and familiarity with accounting/reporting systems.
