Site Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead our construction project in County Kerry. This is an excellent chance for a motivated professional with experience in site leadership to take on a new challenge.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring high standards in health and safety, workmanship, and project delivery. Key duties include:

  • Coordinating and managing all site-based construction work
  • Overseeing subcontractor performance, directing labor, and handling materials to ensure efficient workflows
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety protocols, building codes, and company procedures
  • Liaising with the Project Manager, engineering, and commercial teams to monitor timelines, resolve issues, and maintain momentum
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of site progress, including daily logs, reports, and documentation
  • Facilitating site inductions, safety briefings, and toolbox talks
  • Monitoring equipment usage, stock levels, and logistics to reduce downtime and optimize site resources
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory or site management role on residential or commercial construction projects
  • Proven knowledge of modern construction practices, site safety legislation, and quality standards
  • Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret project plans, schedules, and technical specifications with confidence
  • Educational background in Construction Management, Engineering, or a trade certification
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office and project/site management tools such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar platforms
