Global Trade Compliance Professional

The role of Global Trade Compliance Analyst is pivotal in ensuring seamless import/export operations and adhering to relevant laws.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing operational imports/exports, coordinating with customs authorities, and liaising with government agencies.
  • Providing guidance on import & export requirements to local business personnel.
  • Ensuring the integrity of trade data for tariff purposes, including country of origin, valuation, and tariff classification.
  • Offering expertise on documentation, customs valuation, and country of origin determination.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and informing internal stakeholders about their impact on the business.
  • Developing solutions to overcome business challenges and implementing necessary controls around change.
  • Participating in import/export/duty management projects aimed at driving efficiencies or cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customs, logistics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Administration, Foreign Trade Law, Customs Law, Tariff Codes, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in managing software applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP GTS, ECC, and BW.
