About the Role
  • We're seeking an experienced Trade Sales Assistant to join our team, supporting customers across various industries.
  • You will be responsible for providing advice and product information, processing orders efficiently, and maintaining high standards in customer service and sales.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Act as the first point of contact for customers at the trade counter and on the phone, offering helpful guidance and support.
  2. Process orders accurately and promptly, ensuring excellent communication throughout the process.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ranges, promotions, and branch targets to provide informed solutions to customers.
  4. Sometimes assist with stock management, deliveries, and upkeep when required, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
  5. Follow all health and safety guidelines, contributing to a safe working environment and promoting a positive company culture.
Fundamental Skills and Experience
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role is essential, preferably in a trade or retail setting.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, focusing on delivering outstanding service to customers.
  • Show a flexible approach and willingness to collaborate with colleagues, embracing a supportive team ethos.
  • Holding a full, clean driver's license is beneficial, allowing for flexibility in transporting goods and equipment.
  • Comfortable using computer systems for sales and administration tasks, efficiently managing daily responsibilities.
