The organization is seeking a Procurement Manager to be based in South Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement-related duties within CAPEX and Engineering Services.
Responsibilities- Supplier Management: Develop strong relationships with suppliers, prepare detailed RFI's and negotiate contracts, assist in vendor selection using KPIs to ensure quality and service levels.
- Cost Optimization: Drive cost savings through negotiations, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and implement efficient purchasing processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to strict pharmaceutical industry regulations and internal policies.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage supply chain risks, such as potential shortages or disruptions, and ensure a reliable supply of necessary materials.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering a customer-focused and cost-conscious culture.
- Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including finance, quality, operations, and global procurement teams, to align strategies and achieve site-specific objectives.
- Procurement Expertise: Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and negotiation techniques particularly within the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, including manufacturing and regulatory environments.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze proposal documentation, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for cost and quality improvement.
- Communication: Proven ability in communications, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively with both internal departments and external suppliers.
