Senior Paediatric Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high quality mental health services.
Job DescriptionThis is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working with children, adolescents, and their families to provide expert psychiatric care. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders in child and adolescent psychiatry. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registration with or in the process of registering with The Irish Medical Council. Specialist registration is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Ability to display evidence-based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client care.
- Evidence of effective planning and organizing skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Awareness and appreciation of the service user.
- Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members.
