We are seeking an experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team. This role is based throughout Ireland, and the contract length can vary.

About the Role

As a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be part of a large multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health services. The successful candidate will manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team in delivering a comprehensive psychiatric service, meeting the objectives of delivering high quality Consultant led Mental Health Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You must be registered with or in the process of registering with The Irish Medical Council, requiring specialist registration.
  • You should demonstrate expertise in investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • You should display evidence-based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client care.
  • You should demonstrate effective planning and organizing skills.
  • You should have effective communication skills.
  • You should show awareness and appreciation of the service user.
  • You should have leadership and team management skills, including working with multi-disciplinary team members.
  • You should provide evidence of ability to empathize with and treat patients, relatives, and colleagues with dignity and respect.
Requirements
  • You must have specialist registration with The Irish Medical Council.
  • You should have expertise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
