Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Producer to join our team. As an Assistant Producer for Graphics, you will be responsible for ensuring that live graphics are accurate, timely, and editorially impactful.

You will collaborate with graphics operators and production teams to bring key stats and storylines to life during broadcasts. The position is directly tied to live sports schedules, including the UEFA Champions League, Six Nations, International football, and the League of Ireland.

Shift patterns and working days will flex to meet the demands of live coverage, requiring a sharp editorial eye and a cool head under pressure. Previous experience is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of all live sports graphics
  • Work closely with the dedicated graphics operator to ensure smooth implementation of visual elements
  • Continuously monitor game statistics, trends, and key insights, alerting the production team to emerging storylines
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and editorial teams to determine which graphics best enhance live coverage
  • Verify all graphics for factual accuracy and editorial relevance before they go on air
  • Occasionally assist in other production roles as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail. You must also have strong communication skills for coordinating between operators and production teams.

Able to quickly analyze game developments and translate them into compelling graphics is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adaptability are highly desirable.

Benefits:

This is a specified contract that will run from September 2025 to May 2026. The successful candidate will work approximately 64 hours per month for a 9-month period. Flexibility will be required in line with the demands of live television.
