The role of Senior Depositary Analyst entails carrying out routine day-to-day activities related to depositary services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine operating procedures for the depositary services offering in collaboration with direct line Manager
  • Monitor cash flows passing through the fund platform according to established procedures
  • Promote safeguarding of fund assets, whether through custody or general verification of ownership
  • Ensure the proper operation of the fund platform, implementing ex post controls and checks
  • Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in conjunction with direct line Manager
  • Act as a higher authority on internal and external day-to-day queries
  • Support direct line Manager on delegated tasks such as billing, onboarding, etc.
  • Provide oversight and monitoring, including transaction reviews and documentation collection process
  • Act as 4-eyes level of review on depositary matters, ensuring adherence to professional guidelines
  • Prepare performance reporting and present it in meetings
  • Supervise and assist in the training and development of more junior staff
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional qualification considered an asset
  • Sound technical knowledge supported through bespoke training
  • Computer literacy, word processing, and spreadsheet skills essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for developing close working relationships
  • Eye for detail and good degree of initiative to provide solutions
  • Ability to read and interpret domestic and EU regulations desirable
  • Experience in supervision and people management desirable
  • Experience in responsibility for client relationship or significant part of major client relationship essential
