Speech and Language Therapy Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our team in Longford.

  • Deliver therapy programmes, including co-facilitating or leading therapy groups under supervision.
  • Precisely prepare therapy environments and materials for assessments or interventions.
  • Support patients during sessions, helping with exercises or communication strategies as directed.
  • Maintain accurate records, statistics, and documentation for therapy sessions.
  • Evaluate equipment faults and assist with inventory management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support.
  • Must be an Ireland resident holding one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
  • Will undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
