Cheeverstown provides high-quality services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. We offer various forms of support in partnership with families.
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, client-centred Occupational Therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support clients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans that promote independence and community inclusion.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for equipment and adaptations to support clients' daily living needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Possess a diploma or degree in occupational therapy from a recognised institution and be registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU.
- Have at least 3 years' post-qualification experience, preferably in the disability sector.
- Demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
- Be flexible and able to respond to changing needs and situations.
- Hold a full clean driver's license and have access to your own vehicle.
