Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned coach to lead our outdoor track team and drive student athletes to excel in their sport.

  • Instruct and Mentor Students: Teach students and manage their behavior to promote academic success and athletic growth.
  • Program Development: Organize, coordinate, and promote a comprehensive sports program that meets the needs and interests of students and the community.
  • Instructional Techniques: Utilize a variety of instructional methods to meet the diverse needs and abilities of student athletes.
  • Competition Management: Supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions to foster individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other school staff to plan and implement instructional goals and objectives for student athlete development.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Establish performance criteria for competition and regularly evaluate student athletes' athletic abilities.
  • Safety and Compliance: Take necessary precautions to protect student athletes, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • Rule Adherence: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Monitor and enforce student eligibility criteria for extracurricular participation.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Athletic Director to schedule competitions and arrange logistics for athletic events.
  • Program Evaluation: Develop and maintain a continuous evaluation process for the coaching program, making adjustments as needed.
  • NCAA Guidance: Provide guidance to student athletes on NCAA regulations regarding academic requirements and recruiting practices.
Qualifications
  • Credentials: Minimum three to five years of coaching experience.
