We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Debt Recovery team.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records. A Law graduate or previous experience in debt recovery is essential.

The successful candidate will support Solicitors in actively managing their daily workloads, including scanning and managing incoming/outgoing post, opening new files, diary management, and handling incoming calls from clients, Solicitors, debtors, court offices etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scanning and managing incoming/outgoing post
  • Opening new files
  • Diary management
  • Handling and dealing with incoming calls from clients, Solicitors, debtors, court offices etc.
  • Assisting on Hearings
  • Liaising with barristers/clients
  • Attending Court for Hearings/Settlements

Key Requirements:

  • Law graduate or 1-2 years previous experience ideally within debt recovery
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated and independent
  • Strong Typing skills and good IT skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable with handling a range of tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail, flexible and very well organised
