Job Title: Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Health and Safety Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe management of projects from inception to completion.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with project managers to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety procedures and training.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the coordination and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of health and safety training programs.

Requirements:

  • A relevant third-level qualification in health and safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a health and safety role, preferably in construction or utilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full driver's license.
