Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to support the commercial and technical management of our on-site projects. This role involves overseeing all on-site activities to ensure tasks are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning, management, and monitoring of construction work while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Assist with understanding project documentation, schedules, and construction methods.
  • Help coordinate daily tasks and activities, ensuring they follow safety and quality standards.
  • Check that equipment is safe and inspected as needed.
  • Assist in reviewing safety plans and procedures, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Promote positive safety practices and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
  • Communicate daily updates with supervisors, workers, and contractors.
  • Monitor project progress and report any risks or issues to the project manager.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Understanding of water industry construction methods and equipment (preferred)
  • Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary site team, including trades and subcontractors
  • Strong leadership skills, promoting health and safety on site
  • Clear and professional communication style
  • Excellent relationship-building and team management abilities
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
