Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support the commercial and technical management of our on-site projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, promoting health and safety on site, and strong communication style. They should be able to manage a multi-disciplinary site team, including trades and subcontractors, and have a clear understanding of water industry construction methods and equipment.

About the Role

This role involves overseeing all on-site activities to ensure tasks are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards. The successful candidate will assist with understanding project documentation, schedules, and construction methods, and help coordinate daily tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety management: Promote positive safety practices and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
  • Project management: Support the planning, management, and monitoring of construction work while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Coordination: Assist in reviewing safety plans and procedures, ensuring alignment with company standards, and communicate daily updates with supervisors, workers, and contractors.
  • Performance management: Help manage subcontractor performance and escalate issues when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • Understanding of water industry construction methods and equipment (preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills, promoting health and safety on site.
  • Clear and professional communication style.
  • Excellent relationship-building and team management abilities.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
