The role of a Financial Operations Specialist involves providing essential support to the Finance Manager in delivering all financial and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage debtors and creditors accounts while adhering to strict governance and financial regulations.
  • Providing general administration across finance, property management, procurement, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including weekly lodgements, analysis of credit/debit payments, petty cash, invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Preparing profit and loss budgets, performing monthly bank reconciliations, processing payroll, and handling staff expenses efficiently.
  • Supporting the preparation of management accounts, annual accounts, and financial reports for stakeholders.

This role also involves developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, providing financial administration for events, and maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity at all times.

Requirements
  • A degree in Accountancy or relevant field with 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organisational and IT skills, experience with QuickBooks, and a full driving license.
