
Conference and Events Coordinator

The Conference & Banqueting Manager is a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to clients. The goal is to create a successful experience for planners and attendees, fostering repeat and referral business.
Key Responsibilities Include- Facility Management: Manage conference & banqueting facilities to optimize availability and maximize client experience through effective planning and smooth delivery of services.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with Sales to understand event requirements and preferences.
- Event Planning: Plan and coordinate all aspects of conferences, banquets, and events, including meeting space, catering, audio-visual equipment, and decor.
- Client Liaison: Act as main point of contact for clients throughout execution phases of events.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all queries/requests are handled in a professional and proactive manner to deliver faultless client experience.
- Feedback and Analysis: Obtain feedback in a timely fashion to analyze effectively the quality of delivery.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and manage team of banquet and event staff.
- Staff Development: Ensure that staff are properly trained and capable of delivering high-quality service.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement SOPs for every aspect of C&B department.
- Revenue Growth: Maximise revenue and profitability from all market segments.
- Operational Efficiency: Effectively manage and co-ordinate conference/event enquiries, databases, reports, and site inspections.
- Financial Accuracy: Ensure all client charges are correctly posted and accounted.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain high standard of cleanliness throughout department.
- Resource Management: Manage wage cost & staffing of department in line with targets/budgets set out by GM.
- Trend Analysis: Create wedding market trends analysis and engage in new wedding additions from the Hotel.
- Innovation: Constantly strive to better products & services C&B department offer.
