Compliance Expert Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Expert Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance program management, with expertise in developing and implementing effective compliance strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of compliance programs across various industries, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices. They will also provide guidance and support to colleagues on compliance-related matters, as well as maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

The Compliance Expert Leader will work closely with senior leadership to identify and mitigate compliance risks, develop policies and procedures, and ensure ongoing compliance monitoring and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance programs that align with organizational goals and objectives;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and assess compliance risks;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective compliance strategies;
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners;
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on compliance-related matters;
  • Ensure ongoing compliance monitoring and reporting;
  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks through proactive measures;
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and developments in compliance;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as law, business, or public policy;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance program management, preferably in a leadership role;
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance strategies;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Experience with compliance software and technology, preferably with data analytics capabilities;
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR, CCPA, and SOC 2;
