- Participate in incident reviews and ensure appropriate actions are taken.">

- Ensure safe and effective management of patient flow.">
- Support ongoing professional development of nursing staff.">
- Recruit, retain, and mentor nursing staff to create a motivated workforce.">
- Promote a learning environment that encourages reflective practice and research activities.">
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and service delivery.">
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, maintaining open lines of communication.">
- Ensure nursing services comply with national healthcare regulations and standards.">
- Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.">
- Contribute to risk management strategies and ensure patient safety risks are identified and mitigated.">
- Support the Director of Nursing in promoting a research-oriented culture within the nursing team.">
Qualifications and Experience:

- Registered Nurse with NMBI practising certificate.">
- Postgraduate qualification in nursing or related field (essential).">
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and leadership training.">
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in nursing, with at least 3 years in a senior clinical or leadership role.">
- Experience in managing nursing teams, clinical operations, and multidisciplinary teams.">
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality patient care and leading nursing teams effectively.">
- Solid understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and healthcare regulations in Ireland.">
- Strong leadership, management, and organisational skills.">
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage staff, patients, and stakeholders.">
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.">
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.">
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.">
