
Temporary Financial Records Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting a wide range of stakeholders.
This is a temporary contract (3 months initially, with likelihood of extension) with a competitive hourly rate. Standard working hours apply (37.5 per week), with mostly onsite work in Dublin 6, and potential for some hybrid flexibility once trained.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including processing invoices, managing ledgers, and controlling credit and debt.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data and prepare financial reports on outstanding balances and debt collection progress.
- Liaise with suppliers and members, handling queries and managing expense requests.
- Contribute to financial processes around conferences, events, and membership packages.
- Previous experience in an accounts support role with exposure to AP, AR, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets – Xero experience strongly preferred.
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and with members.
- Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
