Bulk Fuel Deliverer

Calor has an exciting opportunity for a permanent position of a Bulk Delivery Driver. The role will involve delivering multi-fuel types to customers both domestic, industrial and commercial.

• Conduct pre and post shift vehicle checks prior to departure from depot.
• Deliver LPG, LNG and other fuel types in line with procedures on single or multi drop basis to customers.
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner and abide by highway code rules.
• Deliver product using on board computer system recording accurate information.
• Attend training and participate in regular assessments.
• Refuel vehicles following or prior to shift and in line with refueling process.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle including cab interior.
• Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately in line with company procedures.
• Complete Near Miss reporting as required.
• Produce licenses for inspection when requested.
• Maintain and process daily administration and submit at end of shift.
• Follow procedures as laid out in driver's manual and the training manual.
• Assist with training other drivers as required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule with possible after-hours emergency calls.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Complete minor yard duties as required.
• Assist other drivers as helper when required.
• Work within legal parameters of driver hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements.
• Flexibility and availability for early and late start and finishing times.
• Operation of all technology in trucks.

• Ensure health and safety of self and colleagues is a priority in everything that you do.
• All other duties as directed by Transport Manager.

Education requirement to complete this role:

Minimum: Very good written and spoken English and a good standard of Math's.

Math's & English leaving cert or equivalent preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience.
• Hold clean valid HGV driving licence appropriate to size of tanker(rigid/articulated).
• ADR Certificate in bulk gases (Packages and Tanks).
• Hold Driver CPC qualifications and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Up to date CPC modules.
• Previous relevant driving experience - multi and single drop.
• Hold valid Manual handling & Working at Height certificates.
• Health and Safety, awareness and knowledge essential.
• Must be fully experienced trained on Tachograph Regulations in relation to driving times and breaks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer services skills.
• Knowledge of Mechanics advantageous.
• Experience in Digital Logistics advantageous.
• Customer First Mindset: Prioritizes customer needs and ensures their concerns are addressed with empathy and care.
• Good geographical knowledge of Republic of Ireland.
• LPG / LNG product knowledge an advantage.
