This role offers a unique opportunity to drive success in bulk delivery operations.

Job Description:
  • Deliver multi-fuel types to customers across various sectors, including domestic, industrial and commercial.
  • Work on a shift basis, encompassing early morning, day, and afternoon shifts on a rotational basis, covering 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle safety checks prior to departing from the depot.
  • Transport LPG, LNG, and other fuels according to established procedures, handling single or multiple deliveries to domestic, industrial, and commercial clients.
  • Navigate roads safely and efficiently, adhering to highway code regulations.
  • Use onboard computer systems to accurately record delivery information.
  • Attend training sessions and participate in regular assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Refuel vehicles before or after shifts, adhering to refueling protocols.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, including interior cab areas.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately, following established procedures.
  • Document near misses as required.
  • Provide licenses for inspection upon request.
  • Pursue daily administrative tasks and submit completed reports at the end of each shift.
  • Follow driver's manual and training manual guidelines.
  • Assist in training other drivers when necessary.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling, including potential after-hours emergency calls.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Perform minor yard duties as needed.
  • Support fellow drivers when required.
  • Operate within legal parameters of driver hours and working time directive legislation, ensuring tachograph and break requirements are met.
  • Flexibility is crucial for varying start and finish times.
  • Effectively use all truck technology.
  • Excel in customer experience by embodying Calor's values and upholding service standards.
  • Ensure personal and colleague health and safety remains a priority, documenting Health and Safety conversations focusing on potential hazards or unsafe actions.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Transport Manager.
