We are seeking an experienced Hardware Development Specialist to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing hardware systems incorporating wireless communication, neuromodulation, and physiological sensing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in digital and low-noise analog circuit design, proficiency in embedded systems development, and experience working with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hardware systems incorporating wireless communication, neuromodulation, and physiological sensing.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to design, build, and test current and next-generation medical devices.
- Support all phases of product development, from concept through to post-production.
- Participate in circuit prototyping and manage relationships with prototyping service providers.
- Contribute to validation testing including EMC, wireless coexistence, safety, reliability, and performance.
- Facilitate design transfer by working closely with manufacturing and quality teams.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing to optimize production processes and ensure efficiency.
- Design, develop, and validate custom PCBA test equipment for internal product testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or a related discipline).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the medical device industry (or other highly regulated sectors) in a product development or manufacturing role.
- Strong analytical thinking and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to clearly present technical ideas across all levels of the organization.
