Project Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour and project resources in line with technical specifications.
  • Participate in tendering processes, evaluate bids, assist in procurement and supplier management.
  • Carry out quantity take-offs with a focus on piping systems using piping isometrics and P&ID drawings.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, producing regular financial reports and forecasts.
  • Administer contracts, manage variations and change orders, resolve contractual disputes.
  • Identify and assess financial and project risks, offering mitigation strategies as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including cost records and final accounts.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure financial control and project delivery targets are met.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor, preferably in an engineering or mechanical contracting environment.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams, with experience carrying out piping measurements.
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of design standards, technical documentation and applicable construction regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple project deadlines.
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport essential.
