
Senior Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour and project resources in line with technical specifications.
- Participate in tendering processes, evaluate bids, assist in procurement and supplier management.
- Carry out quantity take-offs with a focus on piping systems using piping isometrics and P&ID drawings.
- Monitor and control project budgets, producing regular financial reports and forecasts.
- Administer contracts, manage variations and change orders, resolve contractual disputes.
- Identify and assess financial and project risks, offering mitigation strategies as required.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including cost records and final accounts.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure financial control and project delivery targets are met.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor, preferably in an engineering or mechanical contracting environment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams, with experience carrying out piping measurements.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of design standards, technical documentation and applicable construction regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple project deadlines.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport essential.
