We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer with extensive experience in .NET and Azure to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and API layers to support our applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in .NET Core/.NET 5+, C#, and SQL Server, as well as hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems, as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines, including setting up automated builds, testing, and deployment workflows on Azure DevOps.

A strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using the .NET stack
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, data modeling, and API design
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to implement new features and improve existing functionality
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years in the .NET framework
  • Strong expertise in .NET Core/.NET 5+, C#, and SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including setting up automated builds, testing, and deployment workflows on Azure DevOps
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Cosmos DB or MongoDB
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of caching mechanisms, such as Redis or Azure Cache
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
