Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving strategic and operational information to inform business decisions. The successful candidate will be accountable for providing data-driven insights to optimize supply chain performance.

The Supply Chain Optimization Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that accurate data is reported and utilized to drive meaningful discussion and decision-making. This includes identifying areas for improvement, developing risk mitigation plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive inventory optimization and management of on-hand raw materials and components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building tools and processes to collate data from various sources
  • Independently analyzing complex datasets to answer specific questions and uncover opportunities for improvement
  • Developing competency through researching the latest Data Management capabilities and potential further education
  • Presenting data and associated business insights to key stakeholders
  • Collaborating with management teams to develop executable plans and communicate these to manufacturing sites
  • Driving efficiency and standardization in supply chain business processes across sites

Requirements for this role include:

  • Primary degree in Engineering, Business, Maths, or Data Science (Master's degree desirable)
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain principles and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or other analytical tools
  • Ability to travel globally as required (with advance planning)
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team through college programs, part-time work, or personal time activities
