Procurement Professional

As a seasoned buyer/planner with 3 years of experience in a procurement position, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our operations from a supply chain management aspect. Working closely with the team, you will be responsible for analyzing production plans to inform purchasing decisions, negotiating best terms with suppliers, and expediting material deliveries to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze production plans to determine optimal purchase order quantities, delivery dates, and inventory levels.
  • Negotiate best pricing and lead times with suppliers.
  • Expedite material deliveries to meet production timelines.
  • Book deliveries onto the purchasing system.
  • Issue materials to production facilities.
  • Maintain computerized purchasing databases and investigate any inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and establish key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with R&D on supplier and material selection.
  • Conduct risk assessments to ensure continuous supply of materials.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
