Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of building materials and services across a range of high-value construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve best value.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their suitability.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier contracts and invoices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of building materials and the construction supply chain.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Team-oriented approach and proactive attitude.
