This key position is a crucial part of the organization, overseeing department supervisors and support staff to achieve top-notch safety, quality, and production results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate direct reports to foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the company.
- Collaborate with other manufacturing operations management staff and customers to ensure quality commitments are met.
- Ensure products are delivered to customers on time, meeting product quality, yield, operating costs, and process efficiencies.
- Evaluate and sign off production records before sending them to the Quality Assurance Department.
- Work with maintenance teams to identify and address potential issues and implement process improvements.
- Guarantee that necessary validations are performed, and processes and systems meet specified requirements.
- Manage area of responsibility to ensure GMP and GDP requirements are met and adhered to.
- Maintain adherence to all environmental health and safety SOPs and equipment policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement a manufacturing strategy aligned with the plant's strategic plan.
- Reduce manufacturing costs through the VIP programme, ensuring current and future budgeted costs are achieved.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A third-level qualification is required.
- Leadership and people management experience is essential.
- Management experience in a GMP facility is necessary.
- Financial and budget reporting experience is required.
