Game Content Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on creating engaging content for social games.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Content Specialist to translate and transcreate player support, community, and in-game content from English into Russian. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality translations that meet our standards.

  • Translate/transcreate in-game, player support, and community content from English to Russian to a high-quality standard.
  • Perform quality assurance tasks in various published content (games, websites, etc.)
  • Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved.
  • Suggest process improvements that deliver optimal translation quality.
  • Collaborate with linguists in other languages on cross-group quality objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A native level of Russian language proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills in Russian and English.
  • Educational qualification in linguistics or a related field.
  • Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics.
  • Good PC knowledge, including MS Office products.
  • Familiarity with CAT tool software (e.g. Memsource/Phrase, MemoQ) is an advantage.
