Early Years Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Early Years Educator. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in shaping the early education and development of preschool children.

Your passion for creating a nurturing environment will inspire young minds and foster a love for learning. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality early education to children in a holistic setting, working with children of various ages, engaging in activities that cater to their unique needs and abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a FETAC Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent qualification, with at least one year of experience working with children of diverse ages. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with children and adults, and a sense of humor and adaptability.

Responsibilities
  • School Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to policies and procedures at all times.
  • Child Development: Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through activities and interactions.
  • Teaching and Learning: Conduct observations of children to monitor their progress and development, and organize materials and toys to facilitate children's learning and exploration.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a team, attending meetings and participating in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • FETAC Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • At least one year of experience working with children of diverse ages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated kindness, warmth, and responsiveness to children's needs.
  • Sense of humor and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing childcare.
  • First Aid certification and completion of Garda Vetting.
  • Manual Handling training and Children First certification.
